Montalivet is a quiet and sporty resort that offers a large number of walks and hikes. Here you adopt the bicycle, ideal to go to the market, discover the Médoc, or go to the beach.

Montalivet is especially known for its surf retreat spot when the waves are too big further south. Experienced or beginners, many surf schools and surf shop punctuate the village and give it a Californian air. For swimming, 2 beaches are supervised: the central beach with two bathing areas and the South beach.

Open every day and all year round, the Montalivet-les-Bains market brings together more than 240 exhibitors in the middle of summer. Oysters, wine, fresh and regional products but also handicrafts, fripes, jewellery, books… It is a real living place of the resort to stroll, enjoy and laugh joyfully in a relaxed atmosphere, flip flops on the feet!
